Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and KeetaHub (“we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your access to and use of the KeetaHub website, dashboards, Discord bots, and other tools we publish under the KeetaHub name (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. About KeetaHub

KeetaHub is an independent, community-built project that provides tooling around the public Keeta Network blockchain. KeetaHub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Keeta Inc., the Keeta Network core team, or any official Keeta entity. “Keeta”, the Keeta Network logo, and any related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used on this site nominatively to describe the blockchain network that KeetaHub interacts with.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation (for example, as an administrator of a Discord server), you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms. You must not use the Service if you are subject to sanctions under applicable law, or located in a country subject to comprehensive sanctions — see section 18.

4. Accounts and authentication

Most features require authentication through Discord OAuth2. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Discord account and of any Keeta wallet you link to the Service, and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under them. Notify us without undue delay if you suspect any unauthorised use. We may suspend sessions or decline to issue certificates if we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or compromise.

5. Description of the Service

KeetaHub currently offers or plans to offer:

• KYC Anchor — identity verification that links your Discord account to a Keeta wallet via an encrypted on-chain certificate.
• Sentinel — a Discord bot and dashboard for token-gated roles, with tiers (hierarchical, holdings-based), badges (independent, threshold-based), a verification panel, administrator-defined custom NFT collections, automatic re-verification of member holdings on a rolling basis (typically every 24 hours), and an audit log.
• Portfolio analytics dashboard — a signed-in view that aggregates the public on-chain holdings, NFT holdings, and transaction history of the wallets you have linked through KYC Anchor, together with cached token price data.
• Username Anchor — planned: human-readable wallet usernames based on Discord identity.
• Discord Wallet Bot — planned: in-chat wallet management and token transfers.

Features may be added, changed, or removed. Some features are provided in beta or as previews and may behave unpredictably.

6. Beta and experimental features

Features labelled “beta”, “preview”, “coming soon”, or similar are provided on an experimental basis. They may be unstable, incomplete, or withdrawn at any time. We make no representation about their suitability, availability, or continued existence. You use them at your own risk.

7. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and link only wallets you control.
• Keep your Discord account credentials and wallet private keys secure. We do not have access to them and cannot recover them.
• Comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and with any rules of the Keeta Network.
• Comply with all laws that apply to you, including those on securities, anti-money-laundering, tax, and export control.

8. Discord server administrator obligations

If you install or configure Sentinel in a Discord server (“guild”) you act as the operator of that guild. You warrant that:

• You have the authority to install the bot and configure it.
• You will ensure your members understand that a third-party bot is reading their Discord IDs and on-chain holdings to assign roles, and will provide any legally-required notice to them.
• You will not configure rules that facilitate unlawful content, harassment, discrimination, or the circumvention of sanctions.
• You understand that we (KeetaHub) act as controller for member data processed by Sentinel, and you will forward any data-protection request a member sends you that relates to Sentinel to info@keetahub.com so we can respond.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or any other user’s data.
• Impersonate another person, forge identity data, or misrepresent your wallet ownership during verification.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service beyond good-faith responsible disclosure.
• Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service, including by automated traffic, scraping, or denial-of-service techniques.
• Use the Service to launder funds, evade sanctions, or finance illegal activity.
• Resell, sub-license, or commercially redistribute the Service without our written consent.

10. Wallets, private keys, and custody

KeetaHub is non-custodial. We never hold, store, or have access to your private keys or seed phrases. Any signing or asset movement happens in your own wallet, under your sole control. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your keys and for the consequences of losing them. We cannot recover keys, reverse transactions, or restore access to a lost wallet.

11. On-chain data and irreversibility

You acknowledge that KYC certificates and any other data we help you write to the Keeta Network are permanent and irreversible. Once a certificate is issued, neither we nor anyone else can modify, revoke, or delete it — that is an inherent property of blockchain technology, not a limitation of the Service. Your Discord ID is encrypted within the certificate and only the holder of the associated wallet’s private key can decrypt it. By initiating a verification you explicitly consent to this permanent storage.

12. No financial, legal, or tax advice

Nothing in the Service, its documentation, or its communications — including references to tokens, NFTs, tiers, or holdings — constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any asset. Digital assets are volatile and can lose all their value. You are responsible for your own decisions and for consulting qualified professionals where appropriate.

13. Fees

The Service is currently provided free of charge. On-chain actions may incur Keeta Network transaction fees, which are paid to the network, not to us. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, we will describe them clearly before you commit to any charge.

14. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties — in particular Discord, the Keeta Network, and our hosting providers. We do not control those services and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or conduct. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

15. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, source code, content, and branding, is owned by KeetaHub or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Portions of our code may be published under open-source licences; those licences govern your use of that code. Outside of such licences you may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written consent. Third-party marks mentioned on the site, including “Keeta” and the Keeta Network marks, remain the property of their respective owners.

16. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for the behaviour of the Keeta Network, Discord, or any other third-party network or platform, and for any loss of tokens, data, roles, or access caused by such third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeetaHub and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, tokens, goodwill, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to EUR 100 or the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain of these limitations; in such cases the limitations apply to the greatest extent permitted.

18. Export controls and sanctions

You represent that you are not listed on any sanctions list maintained by the United Nations, the European Union, the United States (including OFAC’s SDN list), the United Kingdom, or any other competent authority, and that you are not located in or a national of a country subject to comprehensive sanctions. You agree not to use the Service in violation of any applicable export-control, sanctions, or anti-money-laundering law.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless KeetaHub and its contributors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law or of any third party’s rights, or (c) your misuse of the Service, including configuration of a Discord server in a way that harms its members or infringes their rights.

20. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or to us. Where feasible we will give reasonable notice before termination, except in cases of severe or repeated violations or where immediate action is required by law or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out and removing the Sentinel bot from any Discord server you administer. On-chain data (including issued certificates) will persist regardless of account termination.

21. Modifications to the Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, post a notice on the site or in our Discord server. Your continued use of the Service after the change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

22. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence continue to apply where they would otherwise. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If that fails, the competent courts in the Netherlands have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

23. General provisions

• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreement on the same subject.
• Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that or any other provision.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or to an affiliate.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, riot, pandemic, outages of Discord, the Keeta Network, AWS, the public internet, or other third-party infrastructure.
• No partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and us.
